I probably coulda done better and there's some small things I wanted to change after it was done but oh well, I was a runner up so yay me
Heh, saw this somewhere else first. Had to reverse-image search to see it was drawn by you. For some reason it was labeled "Trident (Titan)" making me think he was some kind of Elsworlds version of Arthur affiliated with the Titans. It's such a subtle yet slick redesign that I would have preferred this over Jim Lee's "speed lines" over iconic characters' suits he did in N52, the trident also looks really nice too!
Congrats on it getting close to 1st anyway, I must saw I'd vote for him. I actually participated in a art/design contest held by a LCS that's closed now sadly, but I did what I thought at the time a N52 rendition of Dolphin 
could have looked like (you can see her on my gallery BTW, it's more rough colored pencil). Of course I was thinking had they made her like her original incarnation of a semi-feral child experimented on by aliens and could talk to dolphins. But when she did debut officially she was just another oddball Atlantean, go figure. Anyway, great job
